Here we go with the bridal posts again! I thought about what a new fashion show could be. After covering so many different types of fashion shows/productions, I had no idea what else there could be. That was until I was bored at 4:30 am (yes on a Friday…some fashion students stay up all night researching trends and bridal wear) and was on YouTube. I call this video a “trunk book.” It is a mix between a trunk show and a look book. My cousin wore an Alfred Angelo dress for her wedding, and ever since, I have been obsessed with his designs! Thanks Lisa for getting me hooked! On another note, have you seen the Disney bridal collection? These dresses are amazing and for someone who will always be a Disney Princess at heart, these put the icing on the cake (sorry for lame pun, but it wasn’t intended…okay so maybe a little). I love the way that designer, Michael Shettel is able to talk about the designs of the dresses and show the intricate designs of how the dress relates to the princess. While viewing this show, I imagined myself in that dress, and yes, kissing the prince that correlates to the Disney Princess. It’s okay if you did too, you don’t have to mention it to anyone!
The Ariel inspired dress. I loved The Little Mermaid! I love the silhouette of this dress and the mermaid cut. My favorite part of this dress was the bottom and how it was gathered in sections. This is my favorite dress of the collection!!
This classic princess dress is from the classic story of Cinderella. The uppermost dress is the Platinum Cinderella dress. I don't know which dress I like better, but the uppermost dress has more bling, which is always better!!
This is a Belle inspired dress from Beauty and the Beast. Belle is my favorite Disney princess. I love this sleeves on this dress and the intricate beading of the bodice.
This is the Jasmine inspired dress from Aladdin. I love the silhouette of this dress and the halter straps of this dress.
This is the Rapunzel inspired dress from the movie Tangled. The bottom reminds me of the lanterns that they released into the sky to celebrate her birthday. This dress also reminds me of her long hair from the one shouldered strap that the dress has.
This is the dress inspired from the movie The Princess and the Frog. I love this dress so much! The one shouldered dress with the gathering and the small detail just made this dress so pretty! I even loved the bottom, and I typically do not like bouffant looking dresses, but on this dress, I absolutely loved it!
I hope everyone could guess that this was the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs inspired dress. I absolutely love the details on this dress, but I am not in love with the bottom. Quick, can you name all seven dwarfs?
Ah, the last dress in the collection. I hope many of you have figured out what movie this is from! Sleeping Beauty of course! I loved the feathery look from this dress!
So with 9 different princess looks, which one would you want on your special day? Personally, I am so ready to try them all on!
I love this collection! I was pretty much raised on Disney movies so I love any and all things Disney. I have to say that there is a tie between the Sleeping Beauty dress and the Snow White dress for my favorite but they really are all absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOKAY! you just killed me here! I LOVE this post so much. Dinsey movies are my favorite movies of all time! The dresses I love the most from this post is the Jasmine inspired one (Of course because it fits me so well, you know because of my name) and the Rapunzel inspired dress ( which also fits me well just because of my long hair haha) But, this designer really caught my attention. Great Post!
